Calligraphy

If you want to know more about East Asian philosophy and literature, see this page of mine.
Below are pieces of my calligraphy written at different times. Most of these are taken from the Dao De Jing.

"If you don't study today, don't say there is tomorrow.
If you don't study this year, don't say there is next year"
(from "The Precious Mirror of Bright Mind").

Seeing small is enlightenment (Dao De Jing)

Keeping soft is strength (Dao De Jing)

Returning is the way's movement (Dao De Jing)

To be weak is the way's usefulness (Dao De Jing)

Returning is the way's movement (Dao De Jing)

Knowing self is enlightenment.
Seeing smallness is enlightenment.

Conquering self is strength.
Keeping softness is strength.

Dao (the Way) produces it.

Want it without want.
Do without doing.

Therefore, Dao produces it and virtue nurtures it.

Become one with dust.

Softness and weakness are strong.

keep a constant mind

If you don't study today, don't say that there is tomorrow.
If you don't study this year, don't say that there is next year.

Keeping soft is strength (Dao De Jing)

Treat both grace and disgrace as wonders (Dao De Jing)

"If you are focused, nothing is impossible."
At least about 30 years ago in my twenties, I wrote this because it was my motto.
I made my own seal with a rubber eraser.
